Pet Information Menu

Losing a pet is a hard and painful experience, they are extended members of our families and have been great companions to us over the years.

So making that decision to put your pet to sleep is very difficult, and talking to a sympathetic member of the Park Vets is recommended to help you with your decision.

We must as pet owners ultimately make sure that we have the best interest’s of the animal’s welfare at heart and not prolong a pets life if their illness is causing suffering.

The kindest and most loving gesture is to prevent any suffering and arrange with us to have your animal put to sleep.

The process is painless and very simple, it involves an injection using a strong anaesthetic based drug, and when administered the animal will become unconscious and pass away within a few seconds.

During this process you are quite welcome to stay with your loved one or if you would rather say your goodbyes beforehand the decision is completely up to you and we will support you through the whole process.

You have several choices with regard to the body. You can either take them home for a burial or alternatively you can leave the body with us and we can arrange a cremation.

We can then arrange return of the ashes in a casket, the choice is yours and prices depend on what service you choose.

Whatever your choice or any questions that you might have, our experienced staff are with you through this difficult time.
