Hi my name is Lauren, I have been a vet nurse since summer 2016 where I graduated from Middlesex University.
I joined park once qualified to gain knowledge and experience.
Recently my partner and I rescued Carrick, who helps entertain me in my spare time. I also enjoy playing football and make the most of the Welsh weather with regular cinema visits.
Lauren has worked within Park Vets for over 2 years and qualified in 2011 with a honours degree in Veterinary Nursing Science. Lauren also has a great interest in music and has learnt to play many instruments including the harp.
Lauren is currently studying for a certificate in emergency and critical care nursing and enjoys running regular puppy parties at the surgery.
Jane has been qualified for 15 years and started working for Park Vets in June 2012.
Since 2001, she has been training Student Nurses throughout the different surgeries and has always enjoyed teaching and encouraging people to take on this rewarding career. She has a young family at home to keep her busy when she is not working.
She has always worked in small practices, so working in a large one like Park is very enjoyable and fulfilling.

Worked with Mr Capron for 1 year when in 1999 he decided to retire, Park vets bought the practice and I came with it! I have been here for 13 years.
I joined Park Vets in March 2011 as a trainee nurse and I am now a qualified nurse.
It was the best decision I have ever made. The job is very varied and extremely rewarding and I love it.
Outside of work I enjoy exercising, seeing friends and playing my guitar.
I have been Qualified Veterinary Nurse for 5 years. I live in Cardiff Bay and have two rescue guinea pigs called Hagrid and Reuben. I have recently rescued a 3 legged crossbreed which I have named Nellie. I am hoping to start agility training with her in the near future.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling, camping, music events and dog walking.
My work interests include hospitalisation - I really enjoy the general nursing of the patient so kennel shift is my favourite. I am currently studying to gain a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care. I have only worked for Park Vets for a few weeks but I am really enjoying it here so far.
I started working for Park Vets Pontypridd in April 2016 after finishing my Level 3 Animal Management course in Usk college. I'm really enjoying my time here at Park seeing the different animals who come through the door. I am currently a nurse assistant and also do some reception work. Since I was young I've always wanted to become a veterinary nurse so in the future I'm hoping to do just that.
In my spare time I enjoy dog walking and horse riding. My pets include a 14 year old staffy called Millie, 6 month old terrier cross Beau, a 18 year old cat called Jessie, 20 year old tortoise Billie and a leopard gecko called Luna.
Kathryn joined Park Vets in April and she absolutely loves how hands on her job is and loves helping our patients and being part of the team. Kathryn is a busy mum of three so her time out of work is spent with her children enjoying being a mum to her two sons and daughter and of course not forgetting her beloved cat Thomas.
I started working at Park Vets in August 2017 as a veterinary assistant. I plan to train to be a veterinary nurse here at Park Vets. I have a naughty persian cat called Monty and a Dachshund called Coco who I enjoy walking at the beach in my spare time.
I have been working at Park Vets for just over a year now and have just started my training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. I hope to qualify in 2 years so that I am able to join the rest of the hard working Veterinary Nurses here. I enjoy caring for all of the animals that come through the door.
I live in Abergavenny and travel to Cardiff every day as I enjoy working here so much! I have two big, fluffy rescue dogs at home who I love to cuddle up to. On the weekends we like to take a trip out in our campervan and explore the beautiful Welsh countryside.
