Meet The Office Staff
Started with the company in April 2011 and has the responsibility of managing the business on a day to day basis and creating strategies for best practice. Richard joins us from a media background having previously worked for the Mirror group for over 20 years in senior management. Outside of work horse racing is Richard’s big passion having owned many race horses over the years. He also has a keen interest in farming, and over the years has bred and shown pedigree Suffolk sheep as a hobby.
Sue has been part of the practice team for over thirty years, mainly as part of the administration although she is allowed out occasionally to be seen on reception!
Her family includes a whippet (Harvey) and two cats (Katie and Alfie.)
Emma joined Park Vets in 1999, and works in the office assisting our farm and equine clients. Outside of work she owns a 1971 Volkswagen Beetle, and enjoys going to the various Volkswagen shows in the summer. Emma is a keen supporter of both the Welsh rugby, and Cardiff Devils Ice hockey team's, and also loves spending time taking her two rescue dogs Smudge and Yogi, for long walks.
Julie has worked at Park Vets since 2010. She started her career at Park on reception but now works in the office managing the Health Club and is in charge of Debt Management. She spends her spare time walking her pet dog Blake who is a cross breed Jack Russell Terrier and who she re-homed from Cardiff Dogs home 4 years ago. She loves working at Park Vets and enjoys seeing all the lovely pets who come in for treatment.
Now that my children are grown up i've made the move to full time and i am really enjoying a new challenge, i enjoy socialising with my friends and going for long walks.
I enjoy dealing with all the day to day admin in the office at Park Vets. I've had a for love animals my entire life. I have a cat called Bodhi which I rescued two years ago, and a black Labrador called Ella. Recently I signed Ella up as a therapy dog and hoping to start the assessment stages soon to be able to visit hospitals, schools and residential homes with her.
In my spare time I am working towards my grade one Piano exam, horse riding and travelling back to my home town in Devon to spend time with family and days on the beach.
