Emma qualified in 2007 and has continued to improve her knowledge, recently achieving an advanced practitioner certificate in veterinary business management and becoming a Clinical Director of the practice. When she is not working you’ll find her horse riding, and spends time with friends, family and her cat Ralph, who thinks he’s human.
Andy previously worked for Park Vets as a new graduate veterinary surgeon in 2011 having qualified from the University of Bristol the same year. After 7 years with Park Andy left to experience different areas of the veterinary profession. In March 2022 Andy returned to Park Vets as a Clinical Director.
Andy enjoys small animal medicine and imaging. In addition, he finds the management of veterinary practice very interesting.
Andy believes that building a rapport with clients, patients and colleagues is very important and he looks forward to meeting you all!
Thalia graduated from Bristol University in 2010. She has worked at Park ever since, apart from a two year spell as the resident shelter vet at the Grenada SPCA, in the West Indies. She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, with a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and feline medicine.
Andy graduated from Bristol University, and returned there a few years later to do his PhD. He has been with Park since 2005 and these days focuses mostly on surgery, particularly orthopaedics. Outside of work, family life keeps him busy but, when he can, he enjoys the many outdoor opportunities offered by south Wales for walking and cycling.
Jess graduated from The Royal School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh, in 2004, and joined Park in 2012. She and is something of a connoisseur of Netflix, Amazon, Prosecco and caffeine – although not all at the same time!
Jonny graduated from the Royal Veterinary College (London) in 2015.
Since qualifying, he has gained further postgraduate qualifications including a GPCert (SAS) and PgC (SAS), and he is an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery.
Jonny is passionate about all aspects of surgery, particularly orthopaedics, and enjoys the variety and challenge that surgical cases bring. Outside of work, he is happiest when he’s outdoors and keeping active.
Morgan qualified from the University of Bristol in 2011. She has worked in mixed practice since, and enjoys surgery on small and large animals, as well as meeting clients new and old. Outside of work she enjoys playing squash and can often be found helping out on the farm at home.
Michaela graduated in 2019 from the University of Pretoria in South Africa.
Since qualifying, she has gained further postgraduate qualifications including a GPCert (SAS) and PgC (SAS), and is currently working towards Advanced Practitioner status in Small Animal Surgery. Michaela is passionate about surgery, particularly soft tissue procedures, and enjoys educating clients to help them better understand their pets’ health and individual needs.
She enjoys working as part of a supportive, close-knit team at Park Vets. Outside of work, Michaela loves baking, going to the gym and travelling.

Lorna graduated from the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science in 2018.
Since qualifying, she has gained a postgraduate certificate in cardiology (PgC Cardiology). She particularly enjoys the variety of cases seen in practice and values working alongside a highly skilled, multi-talented team. Lorna has a strong interest in getting to know each pet as an individual and making a positive difference to their experience while in practice.
At home, Lorna has a rescue dog called Lacey, adopted from Newport Dogs Home shortly after graduation. Outside of work, Lorna enjoys running, reformer Pilates, and spending time at the theatre and live music events in Cardiff.
Lauren qualified from the University of Bristol in 2022.
She has a particular interest in both feline and canine medicine and enjoys the variety this brings to everyday practice. What Lauren values most about working at Park Vets is being part of a lovely, supportive team that consistently provides a high standard of care for patients.
At home, Lauren has a rescued Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross American Bulldog called Chessie, a lovable rascal with a big personality. She also has two cats, Tiffany and Willow. Tiffany behaves more like a small dog and is well known for confidently visiting the neighbours, while Willow is more laid-back and loves belly rubs and cosy cuddles in bed.
Lorna qualified from the University of Edinburgh Royal, School of Veterinary Studies in 2020. In 2025, she gained a postgraduate certificate (PgC) in Feline Practice.
She particularly enjoys feline medicine, dentistry and ultrasound, and has a strong interest in providing high-quality care for cats.
Lorna loves working with such a fun and supportive team and enjoys the variety of cases she sees each day. She has a five-year-old cat called Elf, who is a very enthusiastic hunter of any and all small creatures. Outside of work, Lorna enjoys playing korfball and baking.
Dr Rochelle graduated in 2016 at University of Pretoria. She started working in Park Vets in March 2021. She has experience in emergency care and worked at 24h specialist practices, since graduating. She enjoys hiking with her family and Great Dane on her off time.
Rebecca qualified from the University of Bristol in 2022.
She has a strong interest in canine behaviour and enjoys continuing to develop her knowledge in this area. Rebecca particularly values the range and diversity of cases seen at Park Vets, as well as the ability to provide a wide scope of advanced care in-house, including cardiac scans, orthopaedic surgery and specialist dentistry.
Rebecca loves working with the fantastic team at Park Vets. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her partner and their Golden Retriever Ollie, a cheeky little character and very much the love of her life. They often travel in their campervan, making the most of every opportunity to get away, and even enjoy the occasional winter sea swim followed by hot chocolates to warm up.
Teresa graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2021 before working in GP clinics in Australia and the UK. She has since returned home to Cardiff, bringing with her a passion for exotics and behaviour medicine. Teresa thrives on building strong relationships with both patients and their people, and she particularly values being part of the incredible, supportive team at Park Vets. For her, one of the most rewarding parts of the job is witnessing the strength of the human-animal bond and helping to nurture it every day. Outside of work, Teresa enjoys pilates, heading to gigs and spending time with her own lively crew at home, her whippet Evie and two cats Nova and Artie, who are always ready to provide a very enthusiastic welcome after a busy day at work!
Laura started with the practice in 1997 as a trainee vet nurse, qualified in 2002 and has been our head nurse since 2007. Her main area of responsibility is overseeing the day to day running of the nursing staff and general management duties. Outside of work, she enjoys taking her terriers Daisy and Poppy.
Sian trained at Park Vets and qualified in 2006 and is one of the senior veterinary nurses.
Her main areas of interest include small animal radiology and anaesthesia. She is also the practice in-house radiation protection supervisor. Outside of work, she enjoys walking her adorable Labradors Betsy and Roxy and supporting the Wales rugby team.
Nicola joined us in 2005 and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2009. She is interested in lab work and microscopy, and now runs our in-house laboratory. She doesn’t currently have any pets, but with her partner she fosters strays that are brought into the practice until we can find them a forever home.
Jane qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1998, and began clinical coaching students four years later in 2002. She is interested in nurse clinics and physiotherapy, and in her spare time she likes to be with her family.
Hollie qualified as a veterinary nurse from Harper Adams University in 2016, and has a particular interest in feline care, completing the feline nursing certificate in 2019. Outside of work she is owned by Frank, Tod and Kiara, her three rescue cats, and enjoys shopping for interesting socks to wear at work!
Lindsey is a Registered Veterinary Nurse with extensive experience in practice, having qualified in 2012. She holds additional nursing certificates in Emergency & Critical Care and Medical Nursing.
In practice, Lindsey is most often found caring for hospitalised patients, where her calm, attentive approach and high clinical standards play a key role in their recovery.
Lindsey has returned to Park Vets several times over the years, drawn back by the consistently high standard of care provided to patients and the shared team ethos of always striving to do the very best.
At home, Lindsey has a much-loved three-legged rescue dog. Outside of work, she enjoys family life and spending time on home renovation projects.
Katie qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2016 and started with the team in 2018. She has a particular interest in medical nursing and laboratory work. Outside of work, she spends a lot of time on the Cardiff drag scene, going for picturesque walks or doing jigsaw puzzles and crosswords. She lives with her labrador Gwilym and her cat Polly.
Claire qualified as a veterinary nurse from Harper Adams University in 2019, and loves her job as she finds it rewarding to be able to have a positive impact on the lives of our patients and clients. Outside work she enjoys exploring Cardiff, running and spending too much time watching Netflix!
Lizzie joined the team at the start of 2021, having previously worked in charity and non-profit veterinary clinics, including Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and The Animal Trust in Manchester. She also spent a year in Vietnam, volunteering at an international veterinary clinic. Outside work she enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her rescue cat, Jess, who she has had since her time at Battersea!
Lois graduated from Hartpury University with an Equine Science degree in 2019. She joined the team in March 2021 as an Animal Nursing Assistant and began her Veterinary Nurse training in September 2021 at Usk College. Lois qualified as an RVN in December 2023. In her spare time she enjoys riding her horse Star, walking dog Barney and spending time with her cat Merlin.
Ellie completed her Level 3 Animal Management qualification before going on to achieve a Bachelor’s Honours Degree in Veterinary Nursing from Hartpury University in 2024.
She has a particular passion for specialist nursing clinics, especially weight management and pain management clinics for patients diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Ellie finds it incredibly rewarding to support both pets and their owners in improving long-term comfort, mobility and overall quality of life.
At home, Ellie has two much-loved pets called Cookie and Belle. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and socialising with friends.
Debbie joined our Pontypridd branch in 1999, back before it was part of Park, and has been with the team for as long as Pontypridd has! She is particularly interested in anaesthesia work, and has gained qualifications in the field. In her spare time she has two kids and does lots of walking, as well as running the occasional 5k!
Becky is a member of our reception team who joined us January 2022. Prior to working at Park, Becky has worked in other veterinary practices on reception. Becky enjoys working for Park for our family feel and caring nature. She’s very welcoming for clients and loves to chat. Becky’s love of animals drew her to working in this sector, a love which she shares for her lovely french bulldog Nacho.
Jane has worked as a receptionist at our Pontypridd surgery since 2008 and enjoys meeting clients old and new. She is a real animal lover, and over the years she has kept many pets from dogs to horses. Outside work she supports her grandchildren playing rugby for a local club, spends time in her caravan and bakes cakes.
Anne joined our Penarth branch in 2007, while the team have cared for her pets for 30 years. At home she has George, a stray cat who she rehomed in 2015. When not in work you will find her at the gym or hill walking in the Brecon Beacons. She enjoys nothing better than a vegan supper washed down with a few glasses of wine!
Clare has worked at Park Vets since 2017. She comes from a retail background and works in the office handling insurance claims. She enjoys the challenges of a busy office environment and the close knit team.She spends most of her spare time with her grandson.
Jade has been part of the Park Vets team since 2017 and loves being part of the office team, supporting the branches behind the scenes. She works across finance and marketing and enjoys keeping everything running smoothly day to day.
At home, Jade has a rescue cat called Bodhi and a Labrador named Bailey, who definitely keep her busy outside of work.
Katrina joined Park Vets in 2020 having always had a passion for animals, being a member of our team fulfils a lifelong ambition to work with animals. In her spare time Katrina enjoys swimming and running, and hopes one day to be a proud owner of an Italian greyhound puppy!
Natasha joined the team in 2019 and loves spending her time with all the animals in the practice, especially the puppies, if there is one in the building, she can usually be found nearby! She has four dogs and a rescue rabbit, and can usually be found cwtched up on the sofa with her twin boys.
Samantha joined the reception team in 2021 and is delighted to be at Park due to her passion for animals. At home she has a big, friendly fluffball, Oliver the Norwegian forest cat, and hopes to adopt more to keep him company! Outside of work she enjoys socialising, horse riding, Disney films and holidays in Greece.
Rhianne joined the team as a receptionist in 2019, and currently works as an account coordinator, supporting clinical staff in admin areas. She loves her job, and believes that the Park team truly feels like a family. Outside of work she spends time with family, goes to the gym and studies for a degree in forensic psychology.
Amanda joined our Penarth branch in 2021. She is the proud owner of Cavendish the cat.
Amanda enjoys cooking and trying to create dishes from different countries. She also enjoys walking, yoga and sitting down to watch a good box set crime drama.
